New Changes to our Client Records

On the Saturday the 15th of February, we removed all non-professional titles from our systems.

With tax returns finally able to be lodged with Female, Male and Non-Binary options, we are removing all gender based titles (Mr, Mrs and Miss and Ms) from all tax returns we prepare effective immediately. All other documents will progressively be updates as we work through them.

Quite frankly, we’re still not sure why the ATO still has a Gender field, as it’s irrelevant for tax purposes, but we do hope it’s there for data analytics only (the ATO reports on income by gender, industry, age and location).

If you’ve earned an honorific such as Doctor, Admiral, or Force Captain, we are totally putting that in.
